Why are Project Numbers not Managed automatically?

By default, project numbers are automatically managed by Helios 3D, which locks the input field for manual changes when creating or modifying a project record. If you want to make manual changes, the option „Generate Project Number Automatically“ must be disabled in the system settings, as shown below.

After (de)activating this option, the change will take effect immediately without the need to restart Helios 3D.
