Helios 3D Update 2024.0.1.0
New Version: 2024.0.1.0
DB Version: 2022.0.1.9
Date: 08/14/2023
Operating System: Windows 8, 8.1, 10, 11
AutoCAD: Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 to 2024
This is the first version that supports Autodesk Civil 3D 2024. Support for Civil 3D 2020 has been discontinued.
- New: In the electrical settings, the maximum cable loss value can now be configured separately for the AC and DC domains.
- New: In the Electrical Structure List, you can now expand the list using the context menu to include main devices, strings, or cables.
- New: Several new columns have been added, and some existing columns have been removed in the Electrical Structure List.
- New: A command to replace the polyline has been added to the context menu of the area object for table placement. The new polyline must meet all the requirements for the existing fields. Existing placements will remain unchanged.
- New: For transformer articles, a new „Efficiency“ field has been introduced and is now considered in loss calculations.
- New: For cable articles, you can now enter the impedance for resistance calculation in AC cables in Ohms per km. If provided, calculations will use this value. Otherwise, resistance will be calculated using the material resistance and cross-section as before.
- New: In the item master for cables, the resistance value in Ohms per km can now be entered. If provided, calculations will be based on this value; otherwise, resistance will be calculated using material resistance and cross-section as previously done.
- New: The average row spacing is now displayed again on the statistics page.
- New: Validity checking for changing vertex points in areas, fields, restricted areas, and request type areas registered through a Polyline2D has been improved. When registering such an object, a selected Polyline2D is now replaced by a Polyline, and the original line is deleted upon request.
- New: In the folder selection dialog when creating a new array in the array generator, you can now create, modify, and delete folders through the context menu and a new toolbar.
- New: The context menus in the electrical section have been expanded to include commands that were previously only available in the Ribbon/Multifunction menu.
- New: Row spacing calculation has been improved for permitted shading on tables in very uneven terrain.
- Change: The manual electrical placement now provides an error message explaining why it cannot be used if the placement fails.
- Change: Both automatic and manual electrical placement can now only be used if the cable trenches and device areas assigned to the selection sets are on the same DTM (Digital Terrain Model).
- Change: It is no longer possible to assign cable trenches or device areas to fields and selection sets that are on a different DTM.
- Change: Registering or modifying partially overlapping cable trenches to create overlaps is no longer permitted.
