Helios 3D Update 2025.0.1.3
New Version: 2025.0.1.3
DB Version: 2025.0.1.0
Date: 03/13/2025
Operating System: Windows 8, 8.1, 10, 11
AutoCAD: Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 to 2025
- New: In the electric settings, you can now set that all strings parts should show the label with string numbers and if the label should be centered to a string part, instead of showing at the plus node.
- New: In AutoCAD, the „Module“ page that includes the call of Project Management in the Helios3D ribbon can now always be accessed, even if no drawing is open.
- New: When placing arrays using row start points (e.g., after using the „Freeze“ command), if two start points are detected as being too close together, you will be prompted to delete one of them.
- New: Device areas and device hierarchies can now be edited even if they are already in use.
- New: In manual electrical design, all devices/MPPTs now display their inputs, allowing direct connection to a specific input.
- New: In manual electrical design, each node now has a context menu that allows devices/strings to be attached or detached from a specific input.
- New: In manual electrical design, individual strings of an array can now be deleted and redrawn without having to remove and redraw an entire group of strings.
- New: In manual electrical design, strings/devices can now be moved across multiple inputs/MPPTs using drag & drop with the mouse. You can drop the selected item, when the target node turns bold.
- New: In manual electrical design, inverters with multiple MPPTs can now be replaced. Previously, this was only possible for devices without MPPTs.
- New: All devices now display their input numbers in the electrical structure tree and in manual electrical design using the format „PVxx“ at the beginning of the label.
- New: When drawing strings in manual electrical design, visual feedback is now provided regarding string length and string voltage.
- New: In the string editor, pan/zoom and module selection for voltage calculation are now allowed, even if the string definition is already in use.
- New: In the item master, inverters with predefined connection schemes can now be configured for any number of connectable strings in the dialog.
- New: In the balancing dialog for electrical layout, inverters with multiple MPPTs are now assigned in a balanced manner. Free inputs are distributed evenly across all MPPTs, starting from the last MPPT.
- New: In the balancing dialog for electrical layout, connection schemes stored for inverters in the item master are now evaluated and applied based on the number of connectable strings.
- Bug: The array placement caused an infinite loop in some cases that used a start point adjustment line together with requirement type zones and the user inkrement for arrays that exceeded the placement limits.
- Bug: Switching the bulb icon on the node „output cables“ in the electrical structure tree, some cables of the total route didn’t react properly.
- Bug: When generating string numbering, the inverter input could not get displayed.
- Bug: In manual electrical design, an error message could occur when connecting a new device to a transformer that already had devices from a different selection set connected.
- Bug: An error could occur when calling the tooltip for a PV table in rare cases.
- Bug: In the tooltips for transformers/inverters, the load factor was not always displayed or was displayed incorrectly.
- Bug: In the string editor, changes were sometimes saved even though the editing was canceled.
- Bug: In some drawings, cable trenches could not display tooltips or be selected by clicking.
- Bug: When placing arrays with an alignment line, standard arrays were not always placed at the start sometimes smaller arrays were used instead.
- Bug: After changing the complexity of array blocks, they were sometimes not updated.
- Bug: When placing arrays with an alignment line, tables could overlap. Now, arrays are always placed with their lower-left corner on the alignment line when placing from west to east. If a table does not fit in the field or intersects a restricted area, it is shifted accordingly.
- Bug: When drawing cable routes in combination with Y-connectors, display errors could occur, although the cable routes themselves were correct.
- Bug: In the electrical structure tree, input cables of all strings were only displayed if the inverter node was fully expanded beforehand. This now happens in the background.
- Bug: When assigning string definitions with and without Y-connectors simultaneously, definitions without Y-connectors were not assigned.
- Bug: The report view of the yield assessment could freeze under Civil3D 2025. As a temporary measure, map views are no longer displayed under Civil3D 2025, but remain functional under Civil3D 2024.
- Bug: Inverters did not release locked connections from the last balancing operation. So, it wasn’t possible to manually connect a string to an inverter input that got locked for use by balancing.
- Bug: Central inverters did not previously issue a message when no free connections were available.
- Bug: In fields where the field boundary was very close to the terrain boundary, row placement could fail if „Allowed Overhang“ was enabled.
- Bug: In electrical placement, an appropriate error message now appears when a grid connection or transformer is not assigned to a device area, and wiring is aborted.
- Bug: When exporting to the viewer or PVCollada, non-Helios objects were only displayed in gray. Now, the layer or object color is used.
- Bug: Various issues related to inserting blocks into the library and inserting them into drawings have been fixed.
- Bug: Inserting the table legend without a post definition caused an error message.
- Bug: Re-inserting cleaned blocks could cause an error.
- Bug: WebSocket server renewal for image transmission from the two viewers to Helios 3D.
- Bug: The project report caused an error when calculating row spacing if there was only a single row in the field.
- Bug: A missing referenced XML file could cause a crash when working with the surface.
