AutoCAD: Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 to 2026
- Now Autodesk Civil 3D 2026 is supported.
- New: Leapfrog strings can now also be created as custom strings in the String Generator and distributed using the automatic placement feature.
- New: When using manual electrical design and selecting an inverter node with predefined connection schemas, those schemas will be used when connecting strings, provided the inverter has no connected strings yet
and the selected number of strings matches a schema. - New: In manual electrical design, there are 2 new buttons in the toolbar. With these two new functions, you can assign strings to specific cable trenches or remove such assignments.
- New: The Excel output list for the electrical structure has been extended with new values (total input cable length per device, modules per string, string input numbers, total cable lengths in the DC section extended to include positive, negative, and in between cables).
- Change: In the electrical structure tree, the numbering from the drawing is now displayed for strings / collectors / inverters / transformers.
- Bug: In AutoCAD, the dialog for editing a project document was unusable because the input fields were not displayed.
- Bug: The extended data on the article page for cables appeared only as a black area in AutoCAD.
- Bug: Sometimes, string definitions were not saved correctly after editing.
- Bug: If a string in a row had several cable trenches available, cabling now automatically connects to the trench with the shorter route to the target device.
- Bug: In the function „Sort arrays by cable trench,“ the last table was sometimes not placed correctly when the row included manually placed tables that extended significantly beyond the field boundary.
- Bug: In electrical placement, if a main device could no longer be placed in a device area, a generic message with various reasons was previously shown.
Now, detailed output is provided showing which device areas are occupied and why no new device could be created.
