Helios 3D Update 2026.0.1.4

New Version: 2026.0.1.4
DB Version: 2025.0.1.3
Date: 10/16/2025
Operating System: Windows 8, 8.1, 10, 11
AutoCAD: Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 to 2026

  • New: A new 2D table function is now available to represent the net coverage of tables in a field as a 2D polyline.
  • Change: When connecting a transformer in series to another transformer, a check is now performed to verify whether this is possible, and a message is displayed if necessary.
  • Change: Previously, when target devices of strings were deleted in manual electrical planning, the connected strings were also deleted. This no longer happens.

  • Bug: When selecting a cable trench, it was possible under certain circumstances to select the wrong polyline.
  • Bug: When connecting a cable trench to another cable trench (not to a node), an internal error in the trench segmentation occurred. This could lead to incorrect cable paths during later wiring.
In such cases, use the „Remove cables“ function from the electrical page on the Ribbon to remove the cables from the affected cable trench. Then disconnect and reconnect the connected cable trench by moving the connection vertex away and snapping it to the target trench.
This corrects the internal segmentation, and you can then use „Rewire“ to regenerate the electrical connections. The cable paths should then be correct.
  • Bug: The shadow calculation only worked on one side of east-west tables.
  • Bug: In the shadow calculation, shadows could sometimes appear in the opposite direction of the sun.
  • Bug: With shadow calculation enabled, error messages could occur when opening a drawing or switching tabs.
  • Bug: DWGs with a comma in the file name could not be opened while Civil 3D was running.
  • Bug: Mirroring asymmetric strings across multiple tables could cause serious errors under certain circumstances.
  • Bug: A recent change caused the palette to freeze if the insertion of a new shadow object was canceled during the naming step. Civil 3D could then only be closed via the Task Manager.
