Where can I find documentation for a specific Helios 3D command?Use the Help Center search field and search for the command name, related workflow term or UI term. You can also browse the “Overview of Commands” section or the functional area where the command belongs, such as Layout, Electric, Evaluation or Data Export.
How is the Help Center structured?The Help Center is structured around the main Helios 3D workflows and documentation areas. It includes general setup information, database-related topics, command references, layout planning, electrical planning, evaluation, export, analysis, FAQ, tutorials, useful hints and release information.
Should I use the search field or the left navigation menu?Use the search field when you already know a term, command, error message or workflow question. Use the left navigation menu when you want to browse the Help Center by topic area or understand where a function belongs in the overall Helios 3D workflow.
Where can I find tutorials for a complete workflow?Workflow-oriented tutorials are available in the “Step-by-step Tutorials” section. Depending on the topic, related articles may also be found in Layout, Electric, Evaluation, Data Export or Useful Hints and Tips.
Where can I find GIF images that show a command sequence?GIF images may be embedded directly inside Help Center articles where short command sequences, dialog interactions or object selections are explained. Search for the related command, workflow topic or terms such as “GIF”, “animation” or “workflow”.
How can I enlarge a GIF image in the Help Center?Click on the GIF image to enlarge it. This allows you to view the demonstrated Helios 3D interaction or workflow step in more detail.
