Helios 3D Update 2026.0.3.0

New Version: 2026.0.3.0
DB Version: 2025.0.3.0
Date: 08/27/2026
Operating System: Windows 8, 8.1, 10, 11
AutoCAD: Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 to 2026

  • New: Autodesk has published the following updates during the release of Civil3D 2026: Update (2026.2.2) and AutoCAD update (2026.1.2). After installing these updates the Helios3D Palette didn’t appear anymore.
This Service Pack solves the problem and Helios3D works with any update for Civil 3D 2026.

Helios 3D Viewer:
(The new features require the current Viewer environment if an update is displayed when launching the Viewer.)

New: Tables with module groups are now displayed in the Viewer.

  • New: In the Viewer’s Expert Mode, individual tables or table groups can now also be exported by selecting them with the mouse.
  • New: Trackers in the scene now have a tracker axis.
  • New: A list of predefined views can now be created in the Viewer menu.
  • Bug: Exported objects were sometimes not displayed in the Viewer.

General:

  • New: The tooltip of a table insertion now shows the number of module rows, module columns and total modules behind the array name.
  • New: During the electrical assignment of string connection devices, each table row is now checked to determine whether it has access to a cable trench. If this is not the case, this is indicated by a message and a red line.
  • New: In the Balancing dialog, the last column now shows how the load factor would change if strings were added or removed. This can be used to adjust the maximum load factor.
  • New: In the Table Generator, the pile driving depth is now defined individually for each post row in a new column. The previous setting applying to all posts has been removed.
The pile driving depth can also be adjusted for each post row in the array parameters for each requirement type.
  • New: New dimensions (post lengths, module area length) have been added to the table legend for the side view.
  • New: The post lists for Excel now show the visible length, ram depth and total length for each post.
  • Bug: After importing the latest article records to the current DWG by the command on the Ribbon the Array Generator still showed outdated properties for a preselected array definition.
  • Bug: Inside the array generator, the text that shows whether a block is internal (layout drawing) or external (database) was always displayed in white. That made the text not readable on bright background.
  • Bug: When replacing the last inverter with a smaller one in the Balancing dialog, not all strings were always reconnected afterwards.
  • Bug: During automatic inverter placement, strings were connected in the wrong order under certain circumstances.
  • Bug: During electrical placement, all rows whose tables cannot be connected via a cable trench are now listed in a message. Cable trenches must always extend at least to the lateral center of the tables.
  • Bug: An occasional placement error when aligning with restricted areas has been fixed.
  • Bug: Setting the angle optimization increments to zero could cause the calculation to enter an infinite loop.
